Looking for a school holiday program filled with drama? Brave Studios have a popular and well-received kids 3 day School Holiday program.

 

Brave Studios has been running kids drama and acting programs for the last 20 years. Over this time it has become very clear what the kids are wanting in a drama school holiday program. By listening to what the kids want, Brave Studios have structured a program to fully engage aspiring young actors and get their creative minds flowing. This course is for any young person either wanting to give acting a try, love drama, need a little help socially and boost their confidence.

 

We believe drama is the key to happy, confident and mindful kids. Through Drama, kids subconsciously learn many of life’s important and crucial skills including empathy, collaboration, confidence and self belief. And for the natural born entertainers in the world, it is an opportunity to learn more about acting and drama and be challenged accordingly, making sure the drama within them is encouraged and applauded allowing them to shine. Students will gain self-confidence and an understanding of the ‘world of drama’ leaving inspired with the passion to perform and above all, be themselves.

 

The 8 – 12 yo program includes:

• Playing with scripts
• Learning techniques to bring a character to life
• Vocal training
• Drama games
• Loads of improvisation
• Creating stories through imagination
• Playing with costumes and props.
• Filming in our in house studio with Green Screen

All students will be sent a link of the filmed story they created over the 3 days, and will walk away with more skills, tools and confidence.

 

The 13 – 17 yo youth holiday program is designed and created especially for teenagers, and is specifically aimed for Film and TV. This course is perfect for the young aspiring actor wanting to deepen their knowledge of the craft, be challenged and receive constructive feedback to get over habits getting in the way. Brave Studios creates a safe, nurturing yet professional environment for students to take risks in and make bold choices. The aim is for young people to become the best actor they can be while enjoying it in the meantime. Students will be guided through a comprehensive breakdown of a script through to the creation of a fully formed scene full of richness and emotional truth. These acting classes will challenge students to listen and respond to the other actor and understand the truth to a scene. Students will also gain an understanding of how film is different to the stage. Participants will all perform and film scenes in a in-house professional studio. All our class sizes are kept small, allowing students to receive the attention they deserve.

 

Skill Level

For the 13 – 17 yo program students will be dealing with difficult concepts that require an advanced level of English language comprehension. Therefore, it is imperative that all students have a strong command of English. Please feel free to discuss this with Brave Studios should you need clarification.

$230 for the Kids Program (3 days)

$325 for the Youth Program (3 days)

10am to 2pm for the Kids Program; 10am to 3pm for the Youth Program
