Program Outline

Code Camp is where children discover fun school holiday activities that empower them to get creative with technology. Code Camp provide a number of flagship coding programs that are the perfect way to start your child’s Code Camp journey.

 

‘Spark’ is their most popular camp which over 50,000 kids have completed so far and where every child aged 7 and above should start their Code Camp journey regardless of their prior coding experience.

 

‘Animation Camp’ is the exciting intersection between storytelling, art and technology. Over two to three days, your child will create two movies from scratch using stop-motion animation. Stop-motion is the process of taking multiple images of objects and stitching them together to look like they’re moving – it’s an incredibly fun and creative way to tell a story. All students attending this camp are required to purchase a stop motion app for their device. The app is approximately $10 (one time payment) depending on your device. Purchasing the app allows the students to continue their animation journey after camp.

 

‘Curious Minds’ is another camp program where kids discover how science and technology are shaping their world with fun and creative activities. Curious Minds was developed to introduce kids to STEAM. STEAM is about learning how to solve problems, be creative and innovative, think logically, and understand the world a bit better. These are valuable skills and habits of mind for kids to acquire, no matter what they do in life.

Other camps include: Roblox Legends, Minecraft Engineers, Drone Camp, Design Camp, DJ Camp, and many more.

 

Locations include Northcote, Alphington, Kew, Docklands, Southbank, Melbourne, Hawthorn East, Essendon, Balwyn North, Canterbury, Rosanna, Glen Iris, Maribyrong, Williamstown, Doncaster, Newport, Brighton, Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Sandringham, Research, Ringwood, Mentone, Keysborough, Wendouree, and Bendigo.
