Program Outline

Curbside Coaching offers several types of holiday programs at their private indoor skate park.

 

At ‘Day Camps’ beginners will learn the basics of skateboarding while also focusing on stance, balance, pushing, falling properly, tic tac, roll up and down ramps, axel turn Frontside and Backside and dropping in ramps unassisted. Intermediate students will receive one on one and group coaching mastering Manuals, Ollies, Backside Kickturn, Rock Fakie, Frontside Kickturn, Tail Stall and pumping. All skaters will receive prize giveaways from some sponsors, make new friends all while gaining self-confidence in a safe environment.

 

At ‘Griptape Art Workshop’ kids will get creative as skaters get to design and paint their new Griptape to take home, with lots of fun stencils, colours and designs to choose from. While waiting for their Griptape to dry skaters will receive one on one and group coaching, play skate games and making new friends.

 

At ‘Mystery Tours’ skaters will tour up to 4 skateparks per day, with a full van of other skaters. Selected days will have Mystery Guests – some of your favourite skating teams and Pro Skaters. Girls only tours available.

 

All Skaters will receive prize giveaways from Curbside Coaching sponsors, make new friends all while gaining self-confidence in a safe environment. Snacks are included each day (fresh fruit, popcorn, and muesli bars).
