Program Outline

Action Drama Studios (ADS) offer a range of unique experiences for primary and youth students. The holiday programs are a must for any aspiring young performers. The programs are themed based, giving participants a chance to be exposed to set development, writing, and performance.

‘ADS Survivor’

Is your game Strategic or Social? Are you a big player or the next victim of a blindside? It’s time to grab your torch and head to tribal council to see what goes into making one of the Greatest Reality TV shows of all time. Move over Jonathan LaPaglia – Johno White is in town and ready to bring Survivor to the sandy beaches and tropical jungles of…Rosanna. Join Johno in this One Day Games and Web Series Workshop where students not only get to play the game of Survivor, but also be a part of the film-making and behind the scenes action. Located in Rosanna for 13-18 year olds

 

‘ADS Live on Air’

Consider yourself the next Radio Star of your Generation? Or do you have a Podcast Idea that must see the light of day?Whether you have a voice for radio or just need to speak out about your passions, come along and feature in ADS: Live on Air. The Podcast Recording and Film-making Workshop. In this Workshop (1 Workshop Day and 1 Recording Session), students will get their radio voices ready to record their very own episode on ADS’ very own, Brand New Podcast “ADS: Live on Air.” They will experience what it’s like to create, write, record, and bring to life their own podcast episode in a professional studio setting which will be released on ADS Social Media platforms. Located in Greensborough for 8 to 13 year olds

 

‘The 2-Day Disney Musical Workshop’

Join us as we open the storybook, turn the page and venture to the far away kingdom of… Greensborough. In this two and a half day Act, Dance, Sing Rehearsal program students will work together to create, rehearse, build and assemble their very own Disney inspired Musical Production. Led by the talented Act Dance Sing teachers, students will bring to life many beloved family favourites with a special focus on live singing, choreography, storytelling and scene work. Day three will see students head to the stage, receive their very own Fairy Godmother Makeover and costume all in time for the Musical Production Performance for family and friends. With something for every Disney devotee, this action-packed workshop is sure to leave students spellbound. Located in Greensborough for 6 to 10 year olds.

Price

Cost varies depending on type of program on offer. From $99 for a Full Day program to $250 for two days.

Times

Generally run from 10am to 4pm. Some programs may run til 5pm.
