Engineering and Robotics programs

Young Engineers
Engineering and Robotics programs
Program Outline
Engineering and Robotics programs are all about helping kids develop teamwork and collaboration skills while learning about the science and engineering of different theme park rides. Children will use Lego to build different working robots and machines. Motion, colour, touch, tilt and other sensors will be used to give input to these robots so they respond to movements around them. There are a range of robots and machines of increasing complexity. Each child will work according to their age and ability. Every child will feel inspired and successful.
The educators are future teachers/engineers and ex teachers/engineers. All educators are passionate about helping students learn and love STEM. All materials including electronics and iPads will be provided. Children will not be taking any of their robots home. The robots are made of Lego and will be disassembled at the end of the day.
